BRABHAM: Another Second

Caption into Mid-Ohio last weekend, we consideration it would be one more good fight between ourselves and the CytoSport guys, but it clearly didn’t turn out that way.
Caption into Mid-Ohio last weekend, we thought it would be one more good fight between ourselves and the CytoSport guys, but it obviously didn’t turn out that way. Greg had his massive shunt on Thursday and the team was compulsory to pull their entry for the race with the car being almost total.
But even with no the confront from CytoSport, we knew it was still going to be tough next to the other LMP rivalry. Both the Intersport and Dyson cars were very physically powerful and the Drayson car also shows its potential in qualify. While Paul had some issues in the race, it still proves how tough it was out present for us.
On the start, we again saw how huge the power degree of difference is between the prototypes. It was a case of annoying to keep with the Intersport and Dyson cars, which I could there for, a little bit. But I ended up getting caught up in transfer and got a lot of pickup on the tires due to lots of wreckage on the track. It was hard to get them clean and we lost a bit of a time as a consequence.
It was also really hard to peg the leaders back in transfer. If we got a clear run and our tires got some grip, we might hang in there and vicious circle up a little bit. It was tough going out present for a while.
Just before the yellow, the car begins to hook up again and I was able to go a lot earlier in the corner and had set my sights on the leaders. But a yellow came out and distorted things a bit. It was again a good pit stop from the boys, who were able to leapfrog the Dyson car and get Simon out in next.
After Simon got in the car, he was stressed a bit out there with the transfer and lost a bit of ground like I did during my stint. It was very similar circumstances for both of us. But we distorted tires and Dyson didn’t on the final stop, and that enable us to have a slightly fresher tire.
Even still, Dyson were very strong on their out lap, even although they’d probably have a lot of pickup on their tires. They just had that little bit of extra pace to keep Simon at bay. But he did a great job annoying to chase Chris down present at the end.
Overall, we have to be satisfied with the weekend. There was a lot of good material that came out of it. It’s huge for Dyson to win, and I believe it’s great for the show. It’s also great for us in conditions of receiving good points with a next place finish. We’ve erudite more about the tire and the pattern as well as the setup. I can walk away feeling attractive happy.
All of us, although, are still feeling of what happen to CytoSport. I saw Greg at the start of the race and it was clearly great to see him up and about after such a huge shunt. While he’s unluckily out for the season, the team determination is back stronger than ever at Elkhart Lake and likely with a Porsche factory driver paired with Klaus. We’re satisfied to have picked up some good points since we may need them at the end of the finals.
We’re not sure how our wrap up will compare to the rivalry until we get to Elkhart Lake. We think the low-downforce setup be supposed to suit the residual three races, particularly as we carry on to trim the car out.
There are still three races to go and its game on.
